The Spring Show at Round Top is just around the corner. We have curated such a fun collection if we do say so ourselves. We really cannot wait to reveal it to you all in the Peck Barn. We have so many new things coming your way, obviously we can’t reveal it all before the show but we thought we might start posting a few of our favorite finds that will indeed be making their way down south to Texas. We have our favorite Swedish classics readily available for you all but we have found some fabulous modern, vintage and unique objects to really allow you to have fun with decorating your home.
The first thing we’d love to share is these artist night school sketches we found at Mercantinefiera last February. They had a bit of trouble finding their way home but now they are here and we are ready to share them with you all. These classic drawings have a very youthful and free feeling to them. They are clearly body studies and were used as training lessons in art school. But each one has at least two stories. The models story, the artists story and they both are represented in the sketch preserved on these papers. These are a great addition to a gallery wall or in a guest bathroom. They are tastefully suggestive and bring a level of sophistication to any space.
Our favorite find would have to be the Dilly Dally modular vanity designed by Luigi Massoni for Poltrona Frau in 1968. This piece is amazing and we found it while shopping the deballages in France. It was in one of the garages they have throughout the fairgrounds and this was amongst so many other wonderful midcentury pieces but we couldn’t leave it behind. This collection was designed by a famed designer for an incredible company, we are so pleased to have acquire it and its going to be taking centerstage in the booth.
We have some amazing accessories, lighting, seating and storage all headed down to Texas to create in our opinion, our most exciting booth yet! We are most looking forward to our fun-filled nights with our many friends down south!
