Modern Antiquarian charges 25% of the retail value of each item rented. The rental period is 5 successive business days. The renter can return the item(s) before the 5 successive business days are up. We do not accept partial payments for returning rental items early. After the 5th day, you will be charged the remainder of the total retail value.

Pickup and drop-off are in Bridgeport, CT. Pickup hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4 pm. We require 24-hour notice for pickup and drop-off. Your movers must blanket-wrap items and return them blanket-wrapped. If an item is returned damaged beyond its original pre-rented condition or unreturned, the remaining total cost of each item will be charged.

COI and Tax ID forms are required for all rentals. Renters must also fill out a credit card authorization form in case of damage or if an item is unreturned. The COI should cover our business location as well as the entire value(s) of the item(s) rented. Invoices must be paid in full before Modern Antiquarian can release items. We only guarantee the item's availability once full rental payment is received. All sales are final.
