Everyone is talking about The Queen's Gambit on Netflix. While I haven't seen it this series yet, we noticed the funniest thing!
By chance, we recently had a stunning alabaster chess set in our inventory photographed. We purchased it in the UK, but it's an Italian set with a beautiful box and unused. We had to take the chess pieces out of the tissue to be photographed. Unaware of the Chess madness that was about to grip the nation, we posted the item for sale online and it sold within a week. You never know what influence pop culture is going to have on the business!
